On a beautiful night in south Florida, Celine Dions’ Lets Talk About Love “ tour came to an end and judging by the National Car Rental Center’s parking lot it was going to be another sellout.

I must admit I was not a huge Celine Dion fan before the show, but I’ve been converted. She and her group put on one of the most energetic and passionate shows I have seen in awhile. To hear her music on the radio does not do justice to her talent. She is a very powerful performer, who pours out her emotions as he sings, which honestly does not come across on the radio. Her body language and facial expressions allow you to feel every word of the song

.

She ended the night with “ My Heart Will Go On” from the Movie “Titanic”, before she appeared on stage, they showed some of the scenes from the movie and some oceanic background music for effect. Once again she appeared in the middle of the stage and they

had put a bowlike rail up for the effect of having her stand in back of it to look like she was on the boat. There was not a dry eye in the place, except for mine (of course :-)

Celine’s latest CD “ All The Way” a compilation of her greatest hits will hit the stores on Nov 11,1999. This CD will also include her latest Single “ That’s The Way It Is” and a cover of Roberta Flack’s “The First Time”

All these people, and you, have been by to read about Celine

The show began with her rising out of the center of the stage wearing a white kimono which almost gave her an angelic look, as the song was ending she was joined on stage by an all childrens choir  when the first song ended, without missing a beat she quickly did an onstage costume change into a white one piece outfit.

Her show was quite up tempo with a ballad to allow one to take a breath. Her set included many of her hits from these past few years. Including  “If You Asked Me To”, and “Because You Loved Me”. One of the highlights of the show was as she finished “ The power of love”, she was advised that a couple had just gotten engaged to her song. She asked them to get up and she came down from the heart shaped stage and walked over and gave them a hug and wished them the best of luck. When she did “ Tell him” her duo with Barbara Streisand, they projected Ms. Streisands’ image up on the big screen and split the screen so Celine could sing along, it was done so well, you could have sworn they were on stage together. After a brief break, she returned to the stage wearing a silky silver three piece suit and transformed the stage into 70’s disco complete with disco lights as she did her version of the BeeGee’s hit “Staying Alive”
