All these people, and you, have been by to read about Lynyrd Skynyrd & ZZ Top

The anticipation was over! The day had finally arrived that all Lynyrd Skynyrd fans had waited for. The show was at the National Car Rental Center, located in Sunrise Florida. Skynyrd opened for a truly classic rock band "ZZ Top" it could have easily gone the other way for both bands are true classics. The band consists of Johnnie VanZandt, Gary Rossington, Billy Powell, Leon Wilkinson. I've had the opportunity to see Lynyrd Skynyrd twice before and it is always a memorable show. These guys have a sound, which truly reflect, their southern heritage. They sang such classics as Simple Man, Sweet Home Alabama and of course they would never leave out their classic tune Free Bird. The crowd was mostly middle- aged people who have been loyal fans from the bands beginning and have stayed loyal, throughout the bands tumultuous days when they were not sure where they were heading. They have embraced Johnny with much love and respect of his late brother Ronnie. Check out Their new re-mastered CD Nuthin' Fancy (1975) includes never before released live versions of Railroad Song and On The Hunt, both recorded in concert at Bill Graham's Winterland in San Francisco in 1975. Gimme Back My Bullets (1976) features live versions of Cry For The Bad Man and Gimme Back My Bullets also recorded at Winterland in 1976. Both featuring previously unreleased live bonus tracks. Also check out their new release Solo Flytes, which was released on October 12. It is a compilation of tracks from the Skynyrd solo albums released during the decades between the plane crash and the Tribute Tour. A must have for any true Skynyrd fan!! Here is an upcoming tour schedule if you get the chance I would recommend you do not miss this opportunity to see some truly southern rockers!!
